Music

Music is a very important feature at St Matthew's, embracing a wide range of styles and periods.

We have an excellent Choir which sings at the 11.00am Sunday Services as well as Festivals and Holy Days. Our Director of Music, a distinguished composer himself, constantly explores new music in settings for anthems, hymns and psalms.

The church is also used for marriages, marriage blessings, baptisms, funerals and memorial services, as well as being available to other Christian congregations in needs of a place to worship and at different times has been used by Quakers as well as churches from Ethiopia, Macedonia and Spain.
