In a beautifully atmospheric, candle lit church, the Revd Canon Dr James M Rosenthal led our Festival of Lessons and Carols. Our Organist and Director of Music, Gary Eyre, had compiled a superb programme of traditional carols,  interspersed with seasonal pieces by composers such as Britten, Rodney Bennett, Warlock and Poulenc, all magnificently sung by the Choir. The Lessons, telling the Christmas story, were read by members of the congregation, including some of our younger members who were outstanding.
