We were delighted to welcome back Canon Ben Enwuchola, Chaplain to the Nigerian Community, who conducted our 11.00am Choral Communion Service and a Christening.

Canon Enwuchola preached a compelling and inspiring sermon on the Ascension of Jesus. The Ascension is the Christian teaching found in the New Testament when the resurrected Jesus was taken up to Heaven (Acts 1:9-11) in the presence of eleven of his Apostles, forty days after the resurrection. In the Biblical narrative, an angel tells the watching disciples that Jesus' second coming will take place in the same manner as his ascension.
