On Sunday 11^th December we will say a fond yet sad farewell to our Director of Music, Gary Eyre. He has served St Matthew’s magnificently for more than 25 years, composing new settings for psalms and hymns, performing superbly on our historic organ and ensuring that our choral tradition has continued. We will miss Gary and his family very much but thank them all and wish them every success in their new home in the north-east of England.
