A great friend of St Matthew’s Bayswater, the Rev Canon Dr James Rosenthal, affectionately known as Father Jim, was installed as Parish Priest at St Nicholas-at-Wade, Thanet, with St Mary the Virgin, Chislet, Kent on Saturday, 21st January. A coach party was organised from London and a number of people from St Matthew’s went along to lend their support. Fr Jim has taken many of our services during the long interregnum and has provided considerable spiritual leadership. We send Fr Jim our very best wishes for his new life and the challenges ahead and will pray for him as he continues his ministry back in the Canterbury Diocese.
